WAITING FOR A NORWESTER' is a search for inner peace, which at our age is the biggest casualty. Wars between nations, have been replaced by wars within every home― the conflicts that we confront in our daily existence. But there are moments when we discover this tranquillity. It is brought about by the gusts of winds & peals of thunder accompanying a norwester; by the somnolent clatter of raindrops during the monsoon; the gentle breeze that greets us while walking along the deserted streets at the early morning hours; the startling glimpse of a snow peak during a tour of hills. Then begins our journey inwards, into the core of our existence, where there is peace and silence, and where we come face to face with our true self.
