Kannya', a story that is inspired by a real incident taken place in Pune. The book that narrates the struggle of a brother coping up with depression to later unfold the reason behind his restive mind. Two young writers from Pune have come up with an idea of writing a full fledged novel to highlight what a family suffers when the hopsital bills make their survival tough. However, the growing rapes in our country have surely highlighted the need to step up strongly with our laws against the heinous crime, but we were unaware about one such woman who stood against the evil acts of the society. Her journey could leave many of us in a state of shock, but more than that, she has hoped for someone's better tomorrow.
