Amrit Yadav
Amrit Yadav is an educator, counsellor, and lifelong learner with
over a decade of experience working closely with students, parents,
and teachers across India.
For more than ten years, he taught and mentored students preparing
for competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET, while
simultaneously focusing on counselling, character development, and
holistic growth. His work inside classrooms was shaped not only by
academic instruction but also by deep engagement with students’
emotional well-being, family dynamics, and social realities.
After spending years within the education system, he consciously
stepped back to observe it from a distance. That transition—ten
years inside and two years outside—allowed him to reflect critically
and compassionately on the strengths, limitations, and unseen costs
of contemporary education.
Amrit has travelled across 150+ cities across India, drawing insights
from classrooms, counselling rooms, workplaces, and everyday
conversations. These experiences have strongly influenced his belief
that education must go beyond marks and ranks to include values,
life skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness.
He is the founder of iStart-Education, an initiative built on the idea
that learning should be humane, reflective, and empowering.
